Pensacola News Journal: Pensacola moving company takes up collection

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchisee Greg Micklos helps rally support for hurricane victims

Having lived through two hurricanes himself, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchisee Greg Micklos understands the need for basic essentials and supplies in Houston after Hurricane Harvey. To help with relief efforts, Micklos is using his business to transport thousands of donations to Houston residents. He told the Pensacola News Journal this he will accept as many items up until he leaves for the city next week.

"They're more in a rescue mode," Micklos told the Pensacola News Journal, who is posting updates on the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Pensacola Facebook page. "We don't want to dampen donations. We'll be a staging area until we can get out there."

Micklos is partnering with Volunteer Florida - a division of Governor Rick Scott's office, as well as churches and businesses in Pensacola. His location has become a primary drop-off for items like water, non-perishable goods, diapers, etc.
